GCP Data Engineer

Job Title: GCP Data Engineer / Architect

Experience: 5+

Key Skills:

• Strong expertise in GCP services: Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Composer (Airflow)
• Hands-on experience with Airflow/Composer DAG development & optimization
• Proficiency in Python and GCP APIs
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures in Big Query
• Knowledge of ETL, data engineering, BI/reporting tools, and MPP systems
• Exposure to performance and cost optimization in GCP
• Relevant GCP certifications preferred

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and migrate data solutions on GCP
• Act as SME for GCP architecture and best practices
• Provide end-to-end solution design and technology recommendations
• Perform architecture reviews and cost analysis
• Troubleshoot issues and support development teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure effective communication
