Job Description

The GCP Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role involves end-to-end development of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, orchestration, and BI solutions, while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using GCP services such as Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Bigtable.
Implement orchestration workflows using Airflow/Composer and manage scheduled jobs.
Develop and optimize SQL scripts, PL/SQL procedures, and Python code for data integration and transformation.
Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, architecture finalization, and client-facing discussions.
Support data migration projects, validate solutions, and ensure alignment with GCP best practices.
Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot critical issues and ensure smooth operation of data pipelines.

Required Skills and Experience

Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Bigtable, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions).
Hands-on programming in Python and PL/SQL for data processing.
Experience with Airflow/Composer, APIs, and GitHub for orchestration and version control.
Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles.
Experience in end-to-end data integration, migration, and BI solution design.
Analytical skills to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
