About Mastech Digital
Mastech Digital is looking for an experienced GCP Data & AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Data, Analytics, AI/ML, and Agentic AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll work closely with clients, solution teams, and Google Cloud stakeholders to architect next-generation data platforms and AI-driven business solutions.
What You'll Do
Data Architecture & Engineering
- Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures on GCP for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads.
- Build scalable data lake and data warehouse solutions using BigQuery.
- Architect batch and real-time data pipelines leveraging Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
- Develop orchestration frameworks using Cloud Composer (Airflow).
- Implement governed transformation frameworks using Dataform or dbt on BigQuery.
- Design CDC and real-time replication solutions using Datastream.
AI, ML & Agentic AI
- Architect and deploy AI/ML solutions using Vertex AI, including model training, deployment, and MLOps.
- Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using Vertex AI Search and Vector Search.
- Build Agentic AI workflows using Vertex AI Agent Builder and enterprise integrations.
- Implement automated ML pipelines with Vertex AI Pipelines (Kubeflow).
- Evaluate and integrate foundation models such as Gemini and other Vertex AI Model Garden offerings.
Governance, Security & Compliance
- Implement enterprise governance frameworks using Dataplex.
- Design data security models with IAM, Policy Tags, Authorized Views, and row/column-level security.
- Build data protection solutions using Cloud DLP.
- Establish data lineage, auditability, and compliance controls for regulated industries.
Analytics & Visualization
- Design semantic data models and enterprise dashboards using Looker.
- Enable self-service analytics and operational reporting through Looker Studio.
- Architect near real-time analytics solutions leveraging BigQuery capabilities.
Client Leadership & Consulting
- Lead client discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution design engagements.
- Support pre-sales activities, proposals, PoCs, and executive presentations.
- Collaborate with Google Cloud teams on strategic pursuits.
- Mentor engineering teams and contribute to reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices.

- 10–16 years of IT experience with 5+ years focused on GCP Data & AI architecture.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale GCP data platform implementations end-to-end.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience.
- Experience with CI/CD, Agile delivery, and enterprise cloud transformations.
