GCP Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Cloud technical delivery as per the HSBC standards and security aspects.
• Implement and maintain Devops principals while delivering and maintaining cloud services with the help of Full Stack Engineer.
• Co-ordinates release deployment on cloud platform and supports systems in production.
• Supports GCP platform specific support requests, incidents, issues, tickets to ensure flawless and quality delivery of services to end users.
• Review and troubleshoot Cloud issues and agree categorization of high/medium/low.
• Provide visibility of status of action plans for GT cloud technical implementation stories.
• Challenge where appropriate, decisions made on control implementation.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or mathematics. GCP certifications are plus.
• Good knowledge around Cloud infra elements like Compute, Storage, Big Data, and Machine Learning basics.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure services like PaaS, IaaS, SaaS basics.
• Good communication skills able to articulate at POD various levels.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Keen attention to detail, and demonstrable ownership of problems and tasks.
• drive and enthusiasm to deliver excellent service and continual improvement.
