This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a GCP Cloud Architect in India.
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud architectures, helping organizations migrate and build applications on Google Cloud Platform. You will collaborate directly with customers and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. This position combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, enabling you to guide cloud adoption, DevOps practices, and infrastructure modernization. You will be instrumental in providing hands-on training, evangelizing cloud best practices, and ensuring that solutions align with security, performance, and operational goals. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, consultative, and enjoys driving measurable business impact through innovative cloud solutions in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and engineering teams, translating business requirements into actionable cloud architectures.
- Design, implement, and optimize distributed applications, networks, databases, and infrastructure on GCP.
- Guide organizations in migrating workloads to the cloud, implementing DevOps practices, and modernizing operations and release strategies.
- Conduct deep-dive training sessions to transfer cloud knowledge to clients and internal teams.
- Provide prescriptive guidance on automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud-native best practices.
- Build credibility and foster long-term relationships with customers, ensuring successful adoption of cloud solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing distributed applications and cloud solutions.
- 5+ years of experience with networking, infrastructure, or database architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and infrastructure, including automation, IaC, and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of software development tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging executives, IT management, and technical teams.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Have
- Experience in customer-facing technology roles or consulting.
- Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations or IT transformations.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud architectures.
- Technical degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification or other relevant GCP certifications.
