GCP + BQ + Cloud Storage Expert

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, specifically GCP and associated services like BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Design, implement, and optimize database queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts using shell scripting or other scripting languages to streamline tasks.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
• Collaborate with software engineering and data teams to deploy applications and manage cloud-based resources.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments.
• Ensure secure and efficient handling of cloud storage and compute resources.
• Work with DevOps best practices to enhance deployment processes and system reliability.
• Support migration, scaling, and optimization of applications and data workloads in cloud environments.
• Maintain version control using Git and coordinate with development teams for code integration.
• Utilize containerization tools like Docker to manage application deployment and environments.
• Leverage big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) for processing large datasets in cloud platforms.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security, availability, and performance standards in cloud deployments.
