Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced
GCP Architect with
10+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in designing, migrating, and optimizing cloud-native solutions on
Google Cloud Platform. The role involves architecting scalable data and AI-driven solutions, leading large-scale cloud migrations, and ensuring performance, security, and cost optimization across multi-cloud environments including G
CP, AWS, and
Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architectures on GCP, with integration to AWS and Azure where required.
- Lead large-scale application and data migrations from on-prem, AWS, and Azure to GCP.
- Architect and manage data platforms using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and equivalent services in AWS/Azure.
- Design and deploy AI/ML pipelines using Vertex AI, AutoML, BigQuery ML, and integrate with AWS SageMaker and Azure ML when needed.
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines across multi-cloud platforms.
- Manage GKE, EKS, and AKS clusters, along with VPC/VNet networking, load balancers, IAM, and security best practices.
- Define and enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance standards across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Drive performance tuning, monitoring, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives across clouds.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentoring to cloud engineering teams.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, GKE, VPC, IAM, Vertex AI).
- Solid working knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, EKS, IAM) and Azure (Azure VM, ADLS, Synapse, AKS, Azure DevOps).
- Experience designing and managing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform / Ansible across cloud platforms.
- Programming experience in Python, SQL, Shell scripting.
- Strong background in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing.
- Cloud certifications such as GCP Professional Architect, AWS Solution Architect, or Azure Architect (preferred).
