OBJECTIVES:

The GCP Architect role involves designing, building and overseeing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring system are secure, scalable, cost efficient and high performing. The role involves translating Business requirement into cloud architecture, selecting right GCP services, guiding implementation teams and enforcing best practices for security, reliability and governance

THE ROLE REQUIRES:

Design and implement cloud-native applications and microservices on Google Cloud Platform. · Deploy containerized workloads using Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) · Implement data solutions and pipelines using Big Query, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL. · Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. · Ensure application security, high availability, and cost-efficiency while troubleshooting performance issues.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 4–7+ years of software development, with at least 4 years focused on GCP stack.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js
• Hands-on experience with Compute Engine, App Engine, and Cloud Functions.
• Familiarity with Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Looker for ETL and data visualization.
• Knowledge of Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Understanding of GCP IAM roles for managing permissions and security
• Holding a Google Professional Cloud Developer certification is often a major plus
