Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Haridwar for a GCMS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) Research Scientist. The Research Scientist will be responsible for conducting and managing GCMS-related research and analyses, developing and optimizing methods, and ensuring the reliability and reproducibility of analytical results. The role also involves interpreting results, preparing detailed reports, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining laboratory instruments, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in GCMS techniques, method development, validation, and maintenance of analytical instrumentation.
• Strong analytical skills, with expertise in research methodologies, sample preparation, and data interpretation.
• Knowledge of herbal and natural product chemistry, including phytochemical analysis and bioactive compound identification.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and quality assurance practices in laboratory environments.
• Scientific writing and reporting skills, with the ability to document research findings accurately.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities for instrumentation and analytical challenges.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related fields required.
• Experience in a research or laboratory environment related to natural products and/or herbal research is an advantage.
