Due to evolving business needs, we are actively recruiting for a Senior Finance to be part of the established business in Singapore.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director and managing a team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance, accounting, tax and planning activities in Asia region. To develop and implement strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives and transformation projects as a regional finance HQ function, for achieving Group and business objectives. Be a business partner to subsidiary business leaders, finance and accounting members. Establish a set of clear and consistent Finance and Accounting policies and practices, to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance organization including internal controls in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards. Manage finance projects such as acquisition, spin out, redeployment, merger, joint venture. Lead and review forecasting and budgetary planning and reporting. Manage year end audit process, impairment assessment and attend to audit queries. Manage accurate and timely taxes filing (corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing documentation, etc), and ensuring tax compliance. Oversee treasury activities such as cash funds, foreign exchange, debt and capital management, consider optimized options and funding sources for cost-effectiveness. The work may include designing investment framework, industry analysis, financial modeling and due diligence. Provide guidance and leadership in developing or enhancing accounting policies and internal controls, drive operational excellence and efficiency.

Your Profile

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Finance with minimum 15 years of relevant finance, accounting, tax and treasury experience across mid-large sized MNCs ideally within manufacturing. It is essential to have strong knowledge in finance and accounting, tax regulatory compliance in Singapore. We are seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive Finance leader with excellent interpersonal skills.
