About the Role

Are you passionate about fashion and eager to build a career in the industry Pacific Trade Links is looking for an enthusiastic merchandiser to work closely with suppliers, fabrics, and fashion materials.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

Research market trends, competitor products, and price points

Plan new articles based on sales data and category performance

Coordinate with design team (or create basic tech inputs)

Sourcing & Vendor Management

Identify and onboard fabric, trim, and garment vendors

Negotiate costing and ensure target margins

Develop samples and manage approvals

Production & Execution

Plan production quantities based on demand

Track timelines from sampling to bulk dispatch

Ensure quality standards and minimize rejections

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work with sales, operations, and warehouse teams

Support smooth product launches and availability

Candidate Profile

Education: Fashion Design / Textile / Apparel / Merchandising preferred

Strong understanding of fabrics, fits, and manufacturing basics

Good communication and follow-up skills

Excel / Google Sheets working knowledge
