Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced High Fashion Merchandiser to join our luxury brand team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the apparel, clothing, or fashion industry, with a keen eye for trends and a passion for high fashion. This role will involve strategic planning, product selection, and collaboration with various teams to drive sales and enhance brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to optimize product assortment and maximize sales.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging fashion trends and consumer preferences.
- Product Selection: Collaborate with design and production teams to select and curate collections that align with brand identity and customer expectations.
- Sales Forecasting: Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
- Visual Merchandising: Oversee visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing presentation of products in-store and online.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and retail teams to execute promotional campaigns and enhance brand visibility.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely product delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance and provide insights for continuous improvement in merchandising strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in merchandising within the apparel, clothing, or fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of high fashion trends and consumer behavior.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and sales forecasting tools.
