Job Title : AWS DevOps Engineer / Cloud & Platform Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to manage, optimize, and scale our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
This role is critical to ensuring system stability, security, high availability, and smooth release cycles as our platforms grow. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud environments, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and production reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure to support high-availability and performance requirements.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable, and secure deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Manage application deployments across multiple environments (dev, staging, production).
- Monitor system health, performance, and reliability using logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
- Ensure production reliability, uptime, and rapid incident resolution.
- Implement best practices for security, access control, and compliance within cloud and CI/CD environments.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and release cycles.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Continuously improve infrastructure scalability, cost efficiency, and resilience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic).
- Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices.
- Ability to handle production issues and work in on-call or incident-response environments.
Good To Have
- Experience with Kubernetes-managed cloud services (EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation.
- Experience with high-scale, distributed systems.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
- Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning in cloud environments.
