Job Description

  • Set up and maintain multiplayer/realtime game servers
  • Develop and optimize server-side logic using Python, Go, Lua, or TypeScript
  • Work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) to manage game-related data.
  • Implement and optimize real-time communication using WebSockets and REST APIs.
  • Support matchmaking, leaderboards, authentication, and game state management.
  • Collaborate with the game development team to integrate backend features
  • Deploy and manage cloud-based game servers using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and scaling
  • Debug and optimize server performance and security
  • Use version control tools like Git and manage CI/CD pipelines
