With a strong foundation in traditional industries, we are now expanding into the technology sector through a new division focused on developing accessible and engaging video games for a global audience.

Role Description

This is a full-time, primarily remote role for a Game Developer (Lua). The role requires working remotely, with occasional in-office collaboration (approximately once every other week).

Primary responsibilities include designing and implementing gameplay systems, scripting interactive mechanics using Lua, and building engaging multiplayer experiences on a real-time game platform. You will collaborate closely with designers and artists to bring creative concepts to life, while ensuring smooth gameplay, scalability, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate has experience with game physics, UI systems, player progression mechanics, and multiplayer networking concepts. You should be comfortable writing clean, efficient code, debugging complex systems, and contributing to overall game design and user experience.

Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in game programming with a focus on gameplay systems and interactive mechanics
  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals, including object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Experience building and scripting within real-time, multiplayer game environments
  • Good grasp of core game design principles, including player engagement, progression systems, and UI/UX
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, artists, and cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setup while meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in Lua programming is required
  • Familiarity with client-server architecture, networking concepts, and performance optimization is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
  • Prior experience working with Lua-based game engines or sandbox-style game platforms is highly desirable
