About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Game Developer to join our expanding development team at IACG Multimedia College. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining engaging gameplay features for our educational gaming projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unity and C#, with a passion for creating immersive and interactive learning experiences. You will collaborate closely with artists, designers, and content creators to bring innovative ideas to life, ensuring seamless asset integration, optimized performance, and high-quality user engagement across various platforms including WebGL and mobile devices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to educational technology, leveraging your technical expertise to make a meaningful difference in learners lives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess 2 to 4 years of professional experience working with Unity Game Engine and C#. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, prefabs, scene management, coroutines, and event handling is essential. Experience in deploying and optimizing WebGL builds for web-based platforms and familiarity with UI systems, game loops, animations, and asset workflows are also required. Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and performance optimization for mobile and WebGL platforms is critical. Additionally, candidates should have good knowledge of integrating third-party SDKs, analytics, advertisements, and platform-specific services. Knowledge of version control systems like Git and experience working in collaborative development environments will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include developing, implementing, and maintaining gameplay features using Unity and C#. You will be tasked with building, optimizing, and deploying WebGL and mobile games to ensure smooth performance across devices. Implementing user interface interactions, animations, gameplay logic, and integrating visual effects (VFX) to enhance user experience will be a core part of your duties. Collaborating with designers and artists for seamless asset integration, debugging, profiling, and resolving performance issues across platforms are vital tasks. You will participate in code reviews to uphold clean coding standards and best practices. Additionally, integrating third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertisements, and platform services will be part of your responsibilities to support the overall functionality and monetization of the games.
