We're looking for a Game Designer II who can take full ownership of Clubs from a game design perspective, someone who is passionate about game design and develops social gameplay systems and features that enhance community interaction and player engagement within the Clubs ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end, from concept to launch, including ideation, documentation, implementation support, and post-launch iteration.
- Design and develop social gameplay systems and features that enhance community interaction and player engagement within the clubs ecosystem.
- Create and balance game economies, reward systems, progression mechanics, and engagement loops that encourage participation and long-term retention.
- Design systems that strengthen social interaction and community behavior, improving how users connect, engage, and spend time on the platform.
- Support live operations and event systems, designing mechanics that drive player activity, engagement, and monetization.
- Create clear game design documentation, feature specifications, wireframes, and balancing models for development teams.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, artists, engineers, analysts, and operations teams to ensure smooth feature delivery.
- Analyze player behavior, engagement metrics, and product performance to identify opportunities and continuously improve systems and features.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in game design, preferably in mobile F2P social games or social gaming platforms.
- Strong experience in social game design and system design.
- Experience designing game economies, reward systems, progression mechanics, and engagement loops.
- Understanding of community-driven systems and player interaction mechanics.
- Proven ability to independently design and ship features from concept to launch.
- Familiarity with data-driven design and A/B testing methodologies.
- Good understanding of UX/UI principles and player-centric design.
- Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets for balancing and system simulations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for building engaging social gaming experiences.
