Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing and implementing automated systems to enhance efficiency, productivity and reliability across various industries.
- Write and debug code for programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and other automation tools using programming languages such as Python and Robot Framework.
- Developing and maintaining test automation suites using Robot Framework with Python.
- Test automated systems thoroughly to ensure functionality, troubleshoot issues and observe the deployment of solutions in production environments.
- Analyze current processes, identify areas for automation and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with engineers and management to integrate automation solutions into existing workflows

Work Experience
Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering
Required Skills/ Knowledge
- Proficiency in languages like Python, Robot framework for developing automation scripts and software.
- Writing reusable test scripts and maintaining frameworks.
- Proficiency with Git Lab for code versioning and collaboration.
- Good knowledge of SQL and Database testing.
- Understanding of software testing concepts. (e.g., Sanity and Regression Testing).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests.
Good To Have Skills/ Knowledge
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell or VBScript for automation pipelines or server tasks.
- Use of tools like V&V (Verification and Validation) frameworks to ensure system reliability.
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture Systems.
- Familiarity with Railway Signalling Concepts (RATO, ATS).
- Ability to create technical documentation, schematics and user manuals.
