Role Description

We are seeking a Furniture and Interior Design Intern for a full-time hybrid role based in New Delhi, with some opportunities for remote work. The intern will assist in creating space plans, developing design concepts, and supporting furniture selection processes. Their daily responsibilities will include contributing to layout designs, coordinating interior styling, working on FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications, and ensuring that each project aligns with Oaka's vision of modern sophistication. Collaboration with the design team and effective communication will be integral to this role. The candidate should be proficient with social media trends and will also be implementing Oaka's social media strategy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to develop functional layouts and creative concepts
• Knowledge of Furniture design and specifications, particularly related to FF&E selections
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team and articulate design ideas
• Passion for innovation in furniture and interior design
• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a program focused on Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is a plus
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of social media trends and knowledge of social media management needed for meta and instagram.
