Position Overview

The Research & Data Analyst Fundraising Intelligence supports our global fundraising teams by producing accurate, structured donor and prospect data that is ready to be used in Salesforce and dashboards.

Success in this role means that:

  1. fundraisers receive clear, usable research that helps them prepare for meetings and events
  2. data entering Salesforce is clean and requires minimal rework
  3. stakeholders experience the Analyst as clear, professional, and responsive.

This is a support role that involves researching donors, organizing data in Excel, building trackers and dashboards, preparing short research briefs, and using AI tools responsibly with verification and quality checks.

What You Will Do

  • Research individuals, companies, and foundations to support fundraising
  • Organize donor and prospect information in Excel trackers and dashboards
  • Clean and structure data so it can be uploaded into Salesforce with minimal rework
  • Prepare short research briefs for fundraisers, especially for events
  • Use AI tools to work faster with verification and quality checks
  • Identify and flag basic due-diligence or reputational risks
  • Respond professionally to follow-up questions and clarifications from stakeholders

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 24 years of experience in research, analytics, fundraising operations, or data-heavy roles
  • Strong Excel skills (data cleaning, trackers, dashboards)
  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRMs (NPSP a plus, not required)
  • Familiarity with donor research tools (e.g., iWave, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo)
  • Ability to work under deadlines, especially around fundraising events
  • Careful handling of sensitive information and attention to detail
  • Experience supporting decisions with data or research
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple requests
  • Exceptional collaboration skills
