Fundraising Manager

Location: Remote with 30% Travel | Experience: 4+ years

NavGurukul is a non-profit organization working to make quality education and aspirational careers accessible to young people from underserved communities. Through our residential campuses and initiatives, we provide free skilling programs, holistic learning, and pathways to meaningful employment.

The Fundraising Manager will play a key role in strengthening NavGurukul's fundraising efforts by building lasting donor relationships, preparing impactful proposals, and ensuring effective reporting. Working closely with the Fundraising Lead, the Fundraising Manager will help secure resources that enable NavGurukul to expand its programs and deepen its impact.

• Support the Fundraising Lead in implementing fundraising plans and achieving annual targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with foundations, CSR partners, and individual donors.
• Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and impact reports tailored to donor requirements.
• Identify new funding opportunities through research and networking.
• Coordinate donor visits, calls, and events, ensuring meaningful engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of donor communications, proposals, and reports.
• Work closely with program teams to gather data and stories that highlight student impact.

• 3+ years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, CSR engagement, or business development (social sector preferred).
• Strong writing and presentation skills with an ability to tell compelling stories.
• Proven ability to build and manage donor or partner relationships.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with experience in reporting and documentation.
• Comfort working in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Passion for education and social impact, with a commitment to NavGurukul's vision.

At NavGurukul, we value purpose and impact above financial growth, and we are deeply grateful to those who choose to walk this journey with us. Since we are a non-profit, our salaries are more modest than corporate opportunities and may involve a pay cut of around 60–80% from current compensation.
