Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure capital for real estate projects, including equity and debt financing.
  • Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of investors, including private equity firms, venture capitalists, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors.
  • Capital Sourcing: Identify and pursue potential funding sources for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial modeling, valuations, and risk assessments to ensure fundraising efforts are based on solid financial data.
  • Deal Structuring: Work closely with legal and finance teams to structure complex investment deals and negotiate terms with investors and lenders.
  • Due Diligence: Lead the due diligence process by preparing and presenting necessary financial documentation, project details, and risk assessments to potential investors.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in real estate finance and fundraising, understanding market dynamics and identifying new opportunities for capital raising.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant local, national, and international financial regulations.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on fundraising progress, market conditions, and investor feedback.
  • Project Evaluation: Assist in evaluating the feasibility of real estate projects, ensuring that the financial structure aligns with both project objectives and investor expectations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field (MBA or relevant post-graduate degree preferred).

Experience:

  • At least5+ yearsof experience in finance or fundraising within the real estate sector.
  • Proven track record of raising capital for large-scale real estate projects, both equity and debt.
  • Strong network of institutional and private investors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-structuring skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate investment vehicles (REITs, funds, joint ventures, etc).
  • Expertise in project valuation, due diligence, and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of real estate market trends and capital markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

Certifications(preferred):

  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent certifications.
  • Real Estate License (depending on jurisdiction).
