Momysa began as a home-style tiffin and meal service for PGs, working professionals, and corporate offices in Bengaluru — built on a profitable pilot with proven revenue and repeat demand. We're now launching Momysa's next chapter: a cafe in Indiranagar with warm ambience, great coffee and tea, homemade food, and reliable WiFi — a space designed for people to work, meet, and hang out. Momysa is an initiative of Umamicasa, a Bengaluru-based AI and product engineering studio.
The Role
We're looking for a fundraising professional to own the capital raise end-to-end for the Momysa cafe launch — from identifying and approaching investors to closing commitments.
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential investors — angels, HNIs, or smaller syndicates — suited to an early-stage F&B/hospitality raise
- Present the Momysa investment opportunity, backed by the tiffin business's proven pilot numbers
- Negotiate terms and drive investors through to closing
- Manage investor communication and documentation through the raise
Requirements
- Demonstrated fundraising track record or an active investor network (F&B/hospitality experience a plus, not required)
- Ability to work independently and close deals with minimal oversight
- Comfort structuring deals with either a single investor or multiple smaller investors
The Opportunity
- Raise target: ₹40-50 lakh, to fund the Momysa cafe build-out
- Backed by a profitable existing pilot (Momysa tiffin service) with real revenue numbers
- Investor terms: 30% of monthly profit, until investor receives 2x their investment
- Open to a single investor for the full raise or multiple smaller investors
- Compensation: 10-15% commission on total funds raised, commission-only
