Fundraising Consultant - NGO/CSR

1. Program Funding

Lead fundraising efforts to achieve annual program funding goals.

Identify and research potential funding sources including corporates (CSR), foundations, HNIs, and international donors.

Track and expand the funding pipeline by identifying and engaging new prospects each month.

Draft, review, and refine proposals, concept notes, and presentations tailored to donor priorities.

Conduct donor meetings, site visits, and oversee the development and submission of proposals.

Review and manage MOUs with donors, ensuring compliance and alignment with legal and organizational requirements.

Participate in donor meetings and negotiations as required.

2. Non-Program Funding

Identify and engage new foundations, CSR partners, and individual donors to support organizational and administrative costs.

Build and nurture relationships with UHNIs/HNIs and institutional donors to diversify funding sources.

3. Organizational and Fundraising Strategy

Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement the organization's overall fundraising and donor engagement strategy and campaigns

Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen long-term sustainability and partnership development.

4. Tools and Data Management

Maintain and update Jira CRM (or equivalent system) to track donor interactions, proposals, and conversion stages. Advise leadership on fundraising best practices, trends, and tools.

Monitor and evaluate fundraising activities, providing periodic progress reports and performance metrics.

Maintain a donor database and track fundraising pipeline and progress against targets

Maintain an organized Google Drive repository for all fundraising materials, donor records, proposals, and related documentation.

5. Donor Acquisition and Relationship Building

Plan and manage domestic and international fundraising trips focused on new donor acquisition.

Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective donors, and coordinate meetings during travel or outreach initiatives.

Plan and organize donor dinners, meet-ups, and engagement events when needed.

Coordinate with internal teams to prepare necessary fundraising collateral and presentations.

Represent the organization in donor meetings and networking events.
