Job Description
Company Description Bhoomicare Foundation, established in 2017 in Karnataka, is a nature-focused organization formed by retired forest officers and environmental experts. The foundation is driven by concern over rapid deforestation, forest degradation, and threats to natural flora and fauna. Its mission centers on protecting natural forests, wildlife, and biodiversity, while restoring degraded forests and conserving water resources. Guided by the transformative program Why Grow When We Can Conserve Forests, Bhoomicare promotes conservation over expansion to safeguard ecosystems. The team offers an opportunity to contribute directly to meaningful environmental impact on the ground.
Role Description The Fundraiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves identifying potential donors, partners, and sponsors, and building long-term relationships with individuals, corporates, and institutions aligned with Bhoomicare's conservation mission. The Fundraiser will design and implement fundraising campaigns, prepare compelling proposals, and manage grant applications and reporting. Daily tasks include outreach via meetings, events, and digital channels, maintaining donor databases, and coordinating with program teams to align funding needs with project goals. The role also includes organizing awareness events, presenting the foundation's work to diverse audiences, and tracking fundraising performance to support sustainable growth.
