As a Fund Servicing Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a crucial role in our fund servicing operations. Your primary focus will be on executing routine transactions and collaborating with various teams. You will also apply your knowledge of fund servicing to ensure smooth operations, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements. Job responsibilities
  • Capture, validate, and maintain OTC derivative trade and economic data within strategic platforms to support processing, valuation, and reporting activities.
  • Perform trade, valuation, and cash reconciliations by partnering with clients, fund managers, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support derivative servicing activities including NAV support, independent valuations, middle office operations, and asset verification processes.
  • Manage daily operational deliverables, ensuring all production activities, controls, reconciliations, and sign-offs are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Participate in new client, fund, and product onboarding initiatives, ensuring operational readiness and successful implementation.
  • Monitor operational risk by identifying control gaps, escalating issues promptly, and supporting the development of effective risk mitigation processes.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, and other business partners to enhance service delivery and resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, automate processes, and improve the client experience.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Financial Services Operations, Middle Office, Fund Services, Derivatives Operations, or a related function.
  • Working knowledge of OTC derivative products and associated operational processes.
  • Understanding of valuation methodologies, trade lifecycle events, reconciliations, and risk management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting OTC derivatives, valuations, middle office operations, collateral management, or fund administration activities.
  • Knowledge of multiple asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Foreign Exchange, and Derivatives.
  • Experience with client onboarding, change management, and strategic operational initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process enhancements, automation initiatives, and control improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
