Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Fund Accounting and Operations Associate to report into the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to support the day-to-day operations of our private equity funds. You will own end-to-end processes that keep our funds running, including capital calls, distributions, NAV cycles, investor reporting, fund and administrator liaison. At year end you will work with our fund administrator to prepare annual financial statements, build out audit lead schedules, and work through queries with the auditors, tax agents and the fund administrator. Because the PE platform is being built now, you will also help set it up properly from the start, including the chart of accounts, the accounting policies applied across fund and SPV entities, the reconciliation and close calendar, and the review controls that sit around the administrator's deliverables.

The role also gives you room to build financial modelling and valuation skills, so you can move deeper into fund performance and portfolio analysis over time. This will suit someone with two years in fund operations, fund accounting or fund administration, and wants broader exposure than a traditional back-office role in a larger firm allows.
