We are seeking an experienced Payments QA Specialist with deep expertise in SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, SEPA, and NPP. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of end-to-end payment lifecycles and hands-on experience validating global and domestic payment standards.
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Location: Gurugram
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days per week from office)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive QA for payment flows covering initiation, clearing, settlement, returns, investigations, and reconciliation.
- Validate and test SWIFT MT/MX messages, including field-level verification, MT/MX mapping, and ISO 20022 schema validation.
- Work on message types such as pacs.008, pacs.002, pain.001, and other relevant ISO 20022 messages.
- Ensure compliance with global payment schemes: SEPA, NPP, real-time payments, RTGS, cross-border payments, and domestic payments.
- Review payment processing logic, rulebooks, scheme-specific validations, and operational flows.
- Coordinate with development and product teams to identify defects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Support automation and regression testing for payment systems where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, and global payment schemes.
- In-depth understanding of payment clearing and settlement, message validations, and scheme rule interpretation.
- Experience in payment reconciliation, exception handling, and returns processing.
- Knowledge of real-time payments, SEPA, NPP, and cross-border payment flows.
- Familiarity with QA processes, test case creation, defect reporting, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Experience with automation frameworks is an added advantage.
