Description
We are seeking a Functional Test Engineer with expertise in the Wealth Management domain to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in software testing and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our wealth management applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional test cases based on business requirements in the Wealth Management domain.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality assurance processes are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track defects using relevant tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting as necessary.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide feedback on functional specifications and testability.
- Contribute to test strategy and planning, including estimation of testing effort and resource allocation.
- Provide input for continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in functional testing, preferably in the Wealth Management domain.
- Proficient in test case design, execution, and defect management using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of financial products and services offered in wealth management is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
