Functional Test Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with hands-on experience in Life Asia and Life Insurance domain to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for requirement analysis, test scenario creation, execution, and defect management, ensuring high-quality delivery of insurance software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform requirement analysis, create test scenarios, design test cases, and execute test plans.
• Manage defect lifecycle including bug logging, tracking, and closure.
• Apply strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Conduct functional testing and various testing techniques including regression, UI, retesting, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Communicate issues and testing outcomes clearly to stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

• 1 to 4 years of experience in manual testing, preferably within the Life Insurance domain with exposure to Life Asia.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and defect management processes.
• Proficient in writing clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
