Role Overview
We are hiring a FuSa Engineer with strong DV experience to work on ISO 26262compliant automotive SoCs and safety-critical IPs. The candidate should be able to handle functional safety lifecycle activities along with verification planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement FuSa concepts, safety mechanisms, and safety goals per ISO 26262.
Perform FMEA, FMEDA, DFA, DFA, and safety analysis for IP/subsystems.
Work closely with DV teams to define verification strategy for safety mechanisms.
Develop detailed Safety Requirements, Technical Safety Concepts (TSC), and Safety Case documentation.
Support ASIL decomposition, safety architecture design, and hazard analysis.
Work on testbench development, debugging, and coverage closure for safety-related scenarios.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DV, Design, Architecture, PD, QA).
Required Skills
4+ years experience in Functional Safety + DV.
Strong knowledge of ISO 26262, safety work products, and safety lifecycle.
Good hands-on experience in UVM, SystemVerilog, and verification flows.
Experience in writing safety requirements, safety architecture, and FMEDA.
Understanding of:
o Safety mechanism validation
o Fault injection
o ASIL levels
o Safety goals & safety concepts
Hands-on with simulators like VCS / Xcelium / Questa.
Education
B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE, VLSI, Electronics or related field.
