Functional QA Engineer (Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance domains)

We are seeking a Functional QA Engineer with strong expertise in business requirement analysis, test planning, business process validation, and end-to-end functional testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery across enterprise applications.

Experience Level: Mid-Level (4+ Years) with hands-on experience in Functional QA for enterprise applications within Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance domains.

What is expected out of you

As a part of this Job

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to clarify functional requirements.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) based on business requirements.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and UAT testing.
• Validate end-to-end business processes across Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance modules.
• Execute test cases, identify defects, log issues, and track them to closure using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Validate APIs and database records using Postman and SQL.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production defects and support issue resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure complete test coverage and maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.
• Support production deployments, post-release validation, and UAT activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases and continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

Must-to-Have Skills

• 4-8 years of Functional QA experience.
• Strong domain knowledge in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance.
• Experience in Business Requirement Analysis (BRD, FRD, User Stories).
• Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT Testing.
• Test Case Design and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Strong understanding of business workflows and process mapping.
• Defect management using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• SQL for data validation.
• API testing using Postman.
• Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and requirement clarification skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
• Knowledge of WMS, TMS, SCM, or financial modules.
• Automation testing exposure (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
• ISTQB Certification.
