A Functional Lead in CRM Sales and Marketing with 16+ years of experience is responsible for leading end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle CRM Sales and Marketing modules, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business goals and industry best practices.

Role Summary

The Functional Lead will drive Oracle CRM Sales and Marketing Fusion Cloud) implementations across diverse industries, overseeing the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through post‑production support. The role requires deep functional expertise in CRM Sales and Marketing, groovy scripting for complex sales and CRM scenarios combined with strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementations and rollouts of Oracle CRM Sales and Marketing Fusion Cloud, including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into scalable and compliant Oracle CRM Sales and Marketing solutions.
  • Configure and support CRM Sales and Marketing processes in Oracle Fusion Cloud to meet business needs.
  • Manage and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, scenario design, defect tracking, and sign‑off.
  • Provide post‑production support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvements to stabilize and optimize the system.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Projects, IT) to ensure integrated and streamlined end‑to‑end business processes.
  • Conduct user training, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions to enable effective adoption of Oracle PPM solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardization, recommending and implementing best practices within PPM.
  • Participate in global rollout initiatives, ensuring template alignment, localization requirements, and on‑time delivery across regions.
  • Act as a primary functional point of contact for Oracle Projects, coordinating with technical teams for extensions, integrations, and customizations.
  • Prepare and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and SOPs aligned with organizational standards.
  • Intergerate legacy systems and other Fusion modules to Pracle PPM
  • Preparing documentation – configuration work books, user manuals, test cases, training material for end-users etc.,
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and organizational policies in all project and production support activities.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Projects / PPM functional consultant, with at least several end‑to‑end implementations.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Projects modules, including Project Costing, Billing, Budgetary Controls, and Revenue Recognition in both Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud.
  • Proven experience managing full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, go‑live, and post‑production support.
  • Experience working across diverse industries and multi‑country/global environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex functional and process issues and drive timely resolution.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, business communication, and expectation setting with business and IT leadership.
  • Experience in preparing functional documents, test cases, training materials, and user guides.
  • Ability to work with technical teams on interfaces, reports, workflows, and custom objects related to Oracle Projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead workshops and training sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Prior experience as a Functional Lead or Lead Consultant on large Oracle PPM / Projects programs.

·        Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS certification in Project Portfolio Management or related modules.

·        Experience in Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

·        Exposure to integrations with Finance, Procurement, and other upstream/downstream modules or third‑party systems.
