Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Functional Lead with strong expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to drive functional solution design, client engagement, and implementation delivery. The role involves leading functional activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and delivering optimized transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead functional design and implementation of OTM solutions across projects

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements

• Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs

• Drive configuration of OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Planning, Execution, and Freight Payment

• Conduct workshops, requirement sessions, and UAT support with clients

• Ensure solution alignment with business processes and best practices

• Collaborate with technical teams for customizations, integrations, and enhancements

• Support data setup, migration, and validation activities

• Identify and resolve functional issues during implementation and support phases

• Lead functional testing, UAT coordination, and defect resolution

• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements

• Mentor junior consultants and guide the functional team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7–10 years of overall experience with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)

• Proven experience as a Functional Lead or Senior Functional Consultant

• Strong understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes

• Hands-on experience in:

o OTM Functional Configuration

o Business Process Mapping and Gap Analysis

o OTM Agents, Workflows, and Business Rules

• Experience in OTM implementation and support projects

• Exposure to integration touchpoints with ERP (Oracle/SAP) and WMS systems

• Strong knowledge of documentation (BRD, FSD, UAT cases)

• Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in OTM Cloud implementations

• Knowledge of GTM (Global Trade Management) is an added advantage

• Certification in Oracle SCM / OTM (preferred)

• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
