Functional ERP Consultant - Intern

Location: Chennai – Onsite

Shift Timing: 3.00AM – 12.00PM PST (US Pacific Time)

Engagement Mode: Internship

About the role: We are looking for high-potential Functional ERP Interns who are interested in building a career in ERP consulting (NetSuite / Oracle / SAP / Dynamics). The role focuses on understanding business processes, assisting in ERP implementations, and supporting functional consultants in delivering client solutions.

This role is suitable for:

• Fresh graduates (MBA Finance preferred) with strong analytical and communication skills

• Candidates with 1–2 years of ERP end-user experience looking to transition into consulting

This program will train candidates on core ERP processes, implementation methodology, and consulting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

· Business Process Understanding

· Learn and document key business processes such as:

· Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

· Order-to-Cash (O2C)

· Record-to-Report (R2R)

· Project Accounting

· Assist consultants in business requirement gathering and documentation.

ERP Implementation Support:

· Support ERP implementation activities including:

· Functional documentation

· Configuration walkthroughs

· UAT coordination

· Data validation and migration support

· Assist in preparing solution design documents and training materials.

Client & Team Coordination:

· Participate in client workshops and internal solution discussions.

· Document meeting minutes, action items, and requirement clarifications.

· Support preparation of demo scripts and solution walkthroughs.

Documentation & Testing:

· Prepare test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

· Validate system outputs against business requirements.

· Maintain project artifacts such as process documents and test logs.

Required Qualifications:

For Freshers

· MBA (Finance preferred)

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

For Lateral Early-Career Candidates:

· 1–2 years experience as ERP end user

· Experience using systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Zoho, etc.

· Exposure to finance operations, procurement, or order management

Preferred Skills:

· Understanding of basic accounting concepts

· Familiarity with business process mapping

· Strong Excel and documentation skills

· Ability to learn quickly in a consulting environment
