Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and enhance business applications, ensuring solutions meet user requirements and industry standards.
  • Engage proactively with business users to understand needs and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Apply critical thinking to identify the best technical solutions, considering impacts, risks, and dependencies.
  • Configure standard applications during design, build, and test phases to deliver quality solutions with minimal rework.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specific developments and integrations.
  • Collaborate effectively within the IT team and across business functions while being capable of working independently.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and best practices to improve application performance and user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in IT projects, developing/enhancing business applications and integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Interest in understanding business processes and translating them into software applications.
  • Ability to create functional specifications from business requirements.
  • Experience configuring standard applications and participating in design, build, and test phases.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of configuring ProductVision software or other PLM applications.
  • Familiarity with formulation development and/or regulatory processes in manufacturing.
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile development methodologies.
