Mandatory Skills – o9 Retail Merchandise Financial Planning (3–5 Years)

  • 3–5 years of experience in Retail Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) or Retail Planning.
  • 6months - 2years of hands-on experience with o9 platform.
  • Strong expertise in Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), including financial budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience configuring:
    • Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP)
    • Financial Planning Workflows
    • Product & Location Hierarchies
    • Planning Calendars
    • Business Rules & Planning Measures
  • Good understanding of:
    • Sales, Margin & Profit Planning
    • Open-to-Buy (OTB)
    • Inventory Planning
    • Markdown Planning
    • Buy Planning
    • Forecasting & Budgeting
    • Retail KPIs (Sales, Gross Margin, GMROI, Sell-through)
  • Experience with ERP/Retail Merchandising integrations (SAP, Oracle RMS, Blue Yonder, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
