About The Role

We are looking for a Functional Consultant – Purchase with strong hands-on experience in end-to-end procurement within a manufacturing environment. The candidate should have progressed from transactional purchasing to managing complex procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and Capex procurement.

The selected candidate will work on ERP implementation and business transformation projects across SAP/Microsoft environments. Purchase JD V1 10-09-26 Purchase JD V1 10-09-26

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement across Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Spares, Consumables, Empties, and Fixed Assets.
• Handle complex procurement including Machinery Purchase, Capex, Job Work, Freight, Services, Rate Contracts and Sauda.
• Manage Warranties, AMCs and Scrap Disposal.
• Execute strategic sourcing through RFPs, RFQs, Spot Purchases, Planning-based Purchases and BOQ-based Capex procurement.
• Coordinate with technical teams, project managers and vendors to understand specifications and negotiate commercial terms.
• Use ERP systems to optimize procurement processes, material tracking and documentation, particularly in EPC environments. Purchase JD V1 10-09-26
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• 4–10 years of hands-on experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Strong experience in complex and Capex procurement.
• Must have worked with a Manufacturing company.
• Experience across multiple procurement/material categories rather than a single category.
• Strong knowledge of material types, engineering/manufacturing specifications and ERP systems.
• Experience progressing from basic procurement to strategic sourcing and vendor management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Stable career history preferred, with meaningful tenure in previous organizations.
• Comfortable with travel for client engagements.
• Interest in developing a career in ERP Functional Consulting.
