Role Summary

The IFS Cloud EAM Functional Consultant understand the designs and configurations, prepare and execute test cases while deploying endtoend asset lifecycle and maintenance operations in IFS Cloudcovering asset register/master data, maintenance strategies (preventive, conditionbased, predictive, and RCM/FMECA), work management & permits/LOTO, planning & scheduling, mobile execution, spares & warranties, and APM/IoT insightswith tight integration to Supply Chain, Projects, HSE/Q, and Finance..

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Analysis & Understand Solution Design

• Lead discovery across the asset lifecycle (plan/design commission operate/maintain optimize decommission), producing ASIS/TOBE models and traceable functional designs.
• Define the crossmodule operating model that connects EAM with Projects, SCM, HSE/Q, and Finance for onetruth transactions and reporting.

2. Asset Register & Master Data

• Understand the Configuration and test the business processes for the asset repository, hierarchies/structures (including linear assets), attributes/classes, criticality, locations, and GIS associations; govern change control and document links.

3. Maintenance Strategy & Execution

• Implement preventive, conditionbased, and predictive maintenance; set up RCM/FMECA libraries, failure codes, tasks, job packages, and strategy groupings.
• Enable work management (corrective, inspection routes, shutdown/turnaround work) with permits, isolations and LOTO workflows and safety controls.

4. Planning, Scheduling & Mobile

• Understand the Configuration and test the business processes for maintenance planning, resource calendars, and capacity rules; align with Advanced/Planning & Scheduling Optimization where in scope; enable mobile execution (online/offline) and subcontractor/B2B portals.

5. Spares, Warranties & Contracts

• Set up spare parts, BOMs, min/max and replenishment for MRO; configure warranty, service contracts, and cost capture with integration to Inventory & Procurement.

6. Asset Performance & IoT (APM/PdM)

• Define condition data capture, alarms, and analytics inputs; wire IoT/SCADA/DCS signals into APM for health indices, RUL prediction, and prescriptive recommendations.

7. Data Migration & Integrations

• Own migration templates for assets, structures, counters/sensors, work histories, warranties, and open work; specify integrations to GIS, SCADA/DCS, Projects, SCM, PSO/ASO, and reporting.

8. Reporting, KPIs & Lobbies

• Build lobbies/dashboards and KPI packs for reliability, backlog, schedule adherence, MTBF/MTTR, cost, and safety; align with executive and operational views.

9. Testing, Training & Hypercare

• Prepare E2E test packs (planmaintaincloseaccount); deliver rolebased training and SOPs; run hypercare with focus on uptime, backlog burndown, and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 712 years in EAM/maintenance consulting with 2+ IFS Cloud EAM implementations spanning asset register, maintenance strategy (PM/CBM/PdM/RCM), work management, and planning.
• Handson configuration across permits/isolations (LOTO), RCM/FMECA, mobile execution, and warranty/spares; strong grasp of safety and compliance processes.
• Experience integrating EAM with IoT/SCADA/DCS, GIS/linear assets, PSO/ASO, and Finance/SCM; strong reconciliation and controls.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to APM use cases (health indices, RUL, prescriptive actions) and reliability analytics; awareness of latest IFS Cloud roadmap features (e.g., FMECA enhancements).
• IFS Academy journey/certifications in EAM or Asset Performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering and related field.
