Job Description for ERP Functional Consultant Plant Maintenance

Lighthouse Info Systems Pvt. Ltd., an ERP-based IT company located at IT Park, Nagpur, is looking for an ERP Functional Consultant with specialization in Plant Maintenance within the manufacturing domain.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Plant Maintenance ERP implementation, including maintenance planning, asset management, breakdown tracking, preventive maintenance scheduling, and integration with related modules such as Purchase, Inventory, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Define project scope, timeline, and deliverables for Plant Maintenance ERP implementation and ensure timely execution.

Requirement Analysis & Gap Analysis: Understand client maintenance processes such as preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, work order management, spare parts tracking, and asset lifecycle management.

Documentation: Prepare SRS, Functional Design Documents, Test Scripts, SOPs, and Training Manuals related to the Plant Maintenance module.

ERP Implementation & Training: Configure Plant Maintenance workflows, implement the module at client sites, provide user training, and obtain client sign-off after successful deployment.

Maintenance Process Optimization: Help clients improve maintenance efficiency through proper scheduling, asset tracking, and maintenance cost monitoring.

Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular project reviews, monitor implementation risks, and ensure smooth system adoption.

Collaboration & Support: Coordinate with production, purchase, inventory, and finance teams to ensure proper integration of the Plant Maintenance module with other ERP functions.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in ERP implementation related to Plant Maintenance in systems like SAP ERP, Tally ERP, Marg ERP, Focus ERP, or similar ERP platforms.

Strong understanding of plant maintenance processes, including:

• Preventive Maintenance
• Breakdown Maintenance
• Work Order Management
• Asset Management
• Spare Parts & Inventory Integration

Knowledge of ERP implementation lifecycle and system configuration.

Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

Willingness to travel for client implementations.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Basic SQL knowledge and data migration experience will be an added advantage.

B.Com, BBA, MBA

B.Tech / Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related fields)
