Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Functional Consultant — a retail-processes expert — for Symphony GOLD project delivery: process consulting and design, customer workshops, migrations, training, and change management on transformation programs.

This is a customer-facing role with a collaborative, supportive, face-to-face approach. The consultant understands the dynamics of project-led ERP implementations and system transformations, reads the customer's current landscape and processes, proactively identifies sub-optimal processes, and leads change management toward the newly designed processes. The current allocation includes a contractually committed full-scope program running to March 2027 and a GOLD version-migration project at a major grocery retailer.

Key Responsibilities

Process Consulting & Design

• Analyze the customer's current landscape and processes; proactively identify sub-optimal processes.
• Design future-state retail processes and lead change management toward their adoption.
• Translate process designs into GOLD configuration and functional requirements.
  
  

Workshops, Training & Enablement

• Mentor and lead customer-facing workshops on site.
• Deliver key-user training and support organizational change during transformations.
• Maintain a collaborative, supportive, face-to-face working relationship with client teams.
  
  

Project Delivery & Support

• Deliver functional workstreams on fixed-scope GOLD programs: analysis, configuration, test, go-live support.
• Support GOLD version-migration projects including regression scoping and cutover support.
• Provide L1-L3 standard support and maintenance interventions on assigned accounts; hold milestone commitments on contractually committed programs.
  
  

Qualifications

• 4+ years of retail domain knowledge; expert understanding of retail processes.
• Customer-facing consulting and design skills, including the ability to mentor and lead on-site workshops.
• Understanding of the dynamics of project-led ERP implementations and system transformations.
• Cognitive ability to map the customer's current landscape and processes, identify sub-optimal processes proactively, and lead change management to the newly designed process.
• Hands-on project delivery experience on Symphony GOLD or an equivalent renowned, market-established and referenceable SCM solution, including version-migration projects.
• Migration, training, and change-management support experience.
• Fluent English and readiness for on-site engagement and go-live support windows.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Pre-sales solutioning support capability (estimates, solution outlines).
• Experience with energy/convenience retail formats.
• Polish or Romanian grocery account exposure.
