Function Development Engineer

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Qualification: Master's in engineering / bachelor's in engineering: E&TC / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Automotive Electronics or similar

Roles & Responsibilities:

Domain: Automotive BEV, Power Train, Battery, Cooling system, ECU system test

•Develop functionality for battery management software

•Develop SIL tests for verification of functionality

•Work in agile international team environment

•Coordinate with global TRATON Group companies and external partners

•Technical Discussion with Stakeholders in Europe

Must Have:

•Experienced Battery system understanding

•Advanced General HV-system understanding

•>5 years of project experience

•Experience in embedded software development

•Strong knowledge in C/C++, Python and MATLAB/Simulink

•Strong knowledge in control theory

•Excellent communication skills

•Analytical & problem-solving mindset

•Flexibility, you are ready to change focus when needed

•Willingness to travel internationally (up to 3 months)

Good to Have:

•Reliable, transparent and precise way of working

•Able to handle Version and requirement management tools like GitLab, JIRA, Confluence etc.

•Ability to work independently and in a goal-oriented manner

•Communicative and team-oriented personality

•Knowledge or prior experience in automotive systems or in battery systems is advantageous.

•Knowledge of Agile framework

•Working exposure with Global stakeholders
