Fullstack Engineer (Next.js + TypeScript)

About the Role:

We are building a candidate pool of strong Fullstack Engineers for upcoming client projects across our network.

If you have solid hands-on experience with modern web stacks, care about clean code, and are comfortable working with US and UK-based teams — we want to hear from you.

Roles are remote, fast-moving, and product-focused. AI tooling experience is increasingly expected across all our client engagements.

Core Stack We Hire For:

▸ Next.js 14+ — App Router, SSR/SSG/ISR, server components, API routes, auth, performance optimisation

▸ TypeScript — strict typing, interfaces, generics, reusable component architecture

▸ React — hooks, state management (Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or Jotai), component design patterns

▸ SQL + PostgreSQL — schema design, indexing, optimised queries, migrations

▸ Prisma or Drizzle ORM — production experience preferred

▸ AWS — EC2, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, RDS, IAM basics

▸ REST APIs + Webhooks — third-party integrations, auth tokens, error handling, retries, data mapping

▸ Git + CI/CD — GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar deployment pipelines

AI & Modern Tooling:

Clients increasingly expect engineers who understand and work with AI tools. We look for:

▸ Experience using AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in daily workflow

▸ Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) — building features, not just using chatbots

▸ Basic understanding of prompt engineering and API integration with AI services

▸ Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, Supabase pgvector) is a plus

Nice to Have:

▸ Notion API — creating/updating pages, syncing data, managing database properties

▸ Supabase — auth, RLS, realtime, edge functions

▸ Tailwind CSS + shadcn/ui — modern UI component patterns

▸ tRPC — end-to-end type-safe APIs

Strong Fit If You...

▸ Have shipped production Next.js applications — not just side projects

▸ Write TypeScript properly — not just adding types to JavaScript

▸ Have integrated third-party APIs and handled real-world edge cases

▸ Are comfortable on video calls with international clients in English

▸ Keep up with the modern JS/TS ecosystem and AI tooling trends

Not a Match If You...

▸ Only have React experience — no Next.js production work

▸ Use TypeScript as optional or as an afterthought

▸ Are not comfortable speaking English on client-facing video calls

▸ Are not flexible on working hours for US or UK time zones
