You are one of the first engineers and act as a founding architect of the platform. You design and ship end-to-end features, collaborate daily with the founders, and influence both technical stack and team culture. Responsibilities
- Own the design and development of critical features across the frontend and backend.
- Collaborate directly with founders, product, and business teams to rapidly build, test, and launch AI-driven solutions.
- Build full-stack web applications using Python, a modern web framework, and React.
- Model and optimise relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Design, build, and consume scalable RESTful APIs.
- Solve complex problems in the B2B finance domain and develop deep empathy for user workflows.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience building full-stack web applications.
- Strong Python skills and experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Proficiency with React or a similar modern JavaScript framework.
- Ability to model and optimise relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Experience building and consuming scalable RESTful APIs.
- Clear communication and a user-first mindset in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Pride in ownership and commitment to clean, secure, performant code.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and leveraging AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.
Nice To Have
- Keen eye for user experience and responsive design.
- Experience building AI agents or working on prompt engineering.
