Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Fullstack Developer at E42.ai. The Fullstack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using modern technologies. They will work on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the entire stack. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement features, optimize application performance, and resolve any technical challenges will be key parts of the role.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer who can build scalable backend services and intuitive frontend applications. You will take end-to-end ownership of features — from architecture to deployment — helping accelerate our AI product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain backend services using Django / Django REST Framework
2. Develop rich, responsive UIs using React + TypeScript
3. Design efficient database schemas and queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
4. Integrate REST APIs and ensure smooth data flow across components
5. Write secure, maintainable, and well-tested code
6. Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize application scalability
7. Work closely with product and AI teams to ship value quickly

Required Skills & Experience

1. 2–5 years of experience building full-stack applications
2. Experience with Docker and containerized development
3. Good understanding of Git, CI/CD, and API security best practices
4. Strong proficiency in

a. Django, Django REST Framework

b. React, Hooks, State Management

c. JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS

Preferred / Good to Have

1. Knowledge of Kubernetes cluster deployments
2. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure
3. Familiarity with Celery, Redis, Message Queues, ORMs optimization
4. Experience with frontend testing (Jest/RTL) or backend testing frameworks
5. Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, ELK, Prometheus)
