Job Description Summary

We are seeking an Application Developer with hands‑on experience in full stack development and strong exposure to modern cloud‑based platforms. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys building scalable web applications and APIs, working in agile teams, and continuously learning cloud‑native and DevOps practices across evolving technology stacks.

You are expected to use modern Gen‑AI tools and techniques, including prompt engineering, for the development, enhancement, and support of scalable applications while working closely with senior developers and cross‑functional partners.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

• Build and maintain web applications or Single Page Applications (SPAs) using modern Gen‑AI‑assisted development tools, TypeScript, React, and contemporary UI frameworks.
• Develop and enhance APIs, backend services, and integrations using C#/.NET, Python, or Node.js under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL‑based and document‑oriented databases), including basic data modeling, querying, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to effectively leverage Gen‑AI tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, test case creation, and documentation.

Cloud Platform Development

• Contribute to solutions built on public or private cloud platforms, including platform‑managed application services, serverless components, and event‑driven architectures.
• Assist in deploying, configuring, and supporting cloud‑based applications in collaboration with senior team members.
• Exposure to containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud‑based AI services is a plus, with opportunities to learn and apply them over time.
• Support the integration of AI‑assisted or Gen‑AI‑enabled capabilities into applications and workflows, where appropriate.

DevOps & Automation

• Support CI/CD pipelines using industry‑standard DevOps platforms and tooling.
• Assist with build, deployment, and release activities following established team and organizational processes.
• Help maintain automation scripts, infrastructure configuration, and deployment templates as part of the development lifecycle.
• Use AI‑assisted tools to improve developer productivity, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and optimize build and deployment workflows.

Collaboration & Ways of Working

• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose issues, improve reliability, and enhance system maintainability.
• Collaborate with peers to refine prompt strategies, AI usage patterns, and guardrails to ensure safe, reliable, and deterministic outcomes from Gen‑AI tools.

Quality & Support

• Ensure high‑quality deliverables through unit testing, documentation, and adherence to functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Provide application support for production issues, including defect fixes and minor enhancements, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Leverage Gen‑AI tools responsibly for faster troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and knowledge capture while adhering to security, privacy, and compliance standards.

Skills & Experience Required

• 4-10 years of experience in software development.
• Hands‑on experience with C#, Python, or Node.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript (React preferred).
• Experience building and supporting applications on cloud platforms or distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of databases, APIs, and web application architectures.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from peers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exposure to UI/UX principles is an advantage.
• Experience or strong interest in prompt engineering and effective use of Gen‑AI tools for software development, optimization, and application support.
