About Role:

You'll take ownership of WordPress projects from concept to launch — building custom themes, developing plugins, and ensuring every site performs at its best. You'll work closely with designers and stakeholders, contribute to technical decisions, and play an active role in keeping our work at the leading edge of the WordPress ecosystem

Responsibilities:

·      Develop and maintain high-performance WordPress websites and custom plugins/themes

·      Stay current with WordPress core updates, Gutenberg/FSE, and the broader plugin landscape

·      Explore and integrate AI-powered tools to enhance content workflows, automation, and site functionality

·      Optimize for speed, SEO, security, and accessibility

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews

Requirements:

·      2–5 years of professional WordPress development experience

·      Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

·      Solid understanding of Gutenberg block editor and Full Site Editing (FSE)

·      Experience with REST API, WP-CLI, Git, and modern development workflows

·      Hands-on experience using AI tools within a WordPress context — integrations, content automation, or development assistance

Proactive mindset: you follow WordPress news, test new plugins, and bring ideas to the table

Nice to have: WooCommerce, headless/decoupled WordPress, multisite environments
