Full Stack Web Developer

We want to find a versatile Web Developer. This role will suit someone with strong technical expertise and an eye

for design, capable of building high-performance websites, e-commerce sites, and digital experiences that balance

creativity with functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites to the highest performance and accessibility standards.
• Develop front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Integrate video, animation, and interactive content without compromising speed.
• Customise and extend WordPress themes and plugins with clean, maintainable code.
• Customise and extend WooCommerce themes and plugins with clean, maintainable code.
• Customise and extend PrestaShop themes and plugins with clean, maintainable code.
• Customizing Shopify themes, apps, or APIs for e-commerce flows.
• Develop server-side features using PHP, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
• In-depth experience with MySQL, with a strong understanding of queries, joins, and performance tuning.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs and third-party integrations (CRM, analytics, e-commerce).
• Ensure SEO best practices are embedded, including Core Web Vitals and structured data.
• Use Git for version control and contribute to smooth deployment processes.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to bring ideas to life.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of front-endback-end and back-end development
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
• Proven experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, and Shopify (custom themes/plugins).
• Familiarity with frameworks such as React or Vue.js for interactive UI.
• Backend experience with Node.js/Express.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser testing.
• Knowledge of hosting, DNS, and cloud-based environments.
• API integration and troubleshooting expertise.
• Familiarity with Docker or containerised workflows (advantage).
• Strong debugging skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
• Excellent communication skills with conversational/good English.
• Flexibility to work to the UK/EU time zone
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Linux server management via SSH, file handling, cron jobs.
