Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Test Automation Engineer with strong development skills based in Kochi, with the flexibility of partial work from home. This role combines full stack development ownership with test automation, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering to ensure high-performing, reliable software.
Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
- Design and develop frontend and backend components for web applications
- Build responsive UI using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Develop and maintain RESTful / GraphQL APIs
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
- Test Automation & Quality Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
- Write automation test scripts using modern tools and languages
- Perform unit, integration, system, and regression testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure quality gates are enforced before production releases
- Analyze test failures and collaborate with developers to resolve defects
- Contribute to test data management and environment setup
Required Skills & Qualifications
Development Skills
- Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React / Angular / Vue
- Backend: Node.js / Python / .NET (strong proficiency in at least one)
- APIs: RESTful, JSON, OAuth, JWT
- Databases: MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB
- Version Control: Git (GitHub / GitLab / Azure DevOps)
- Test Automation Skills
- Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- API Testing: Postman, Swagger, etc.
- Unit Testing: Jest, NUnit, etc.
- Framework Design: Page Object Model, BDD/TDD concepts
- CI/CD: Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps Pipelines

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
