Full Stack Team Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking for experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer / Technical Lead with a strong backend engineering focus to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems.

The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, covering cloud-native platforms, scalable backend services, event-driven systems, platform reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Architect and lead the development of cloud-native backend platforms using:
  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • Express.js
  • MongoDB
  • Redis
  • Kafka
• Own technical direction, solution architecture, engineering standards, and delivery planning for the squad.
• Design scalable, distributed, event-driven backend services and optimize distributed workloads.

Platform Engineering

• Drive platform reliability, security, and performance across production systems.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in frontend development using ReactJS.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, engineering standards, and best practices.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and guide engineers across the squad.
• Foster technical growth and promote strong engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience building and operating high-scale backend systems in production environments.
• Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js.
• Strong experience with Microservices Architecture and distributed system design.
• Expertise in Kafka for event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, and service integration.
• Strong MongoDB expertise covering data modeling, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Redis for caching, distributed locking, session management, and performance optimization.

Additional Technical Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms - Azure preferred, with AWS or GCP acceptable.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with API design, security, authentication, authorization, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS.
